The Staggering Girl: Guadagnino director for Valentino

Julianne Moore is Francesca, a New York writer born to a blind Italian-German painter, who returns to Rome to visit her mother. In the house where she spent her childhood Francesca will receive the visit of some ghosts of the past.
But The Staggering Girl is not the only Guadagnino project expected this year. In fact, the series We Are Who We Are should air on HBO, of which the Italian director also signs the screenplay together with Paolo Giordano and Francesca Manieri. Set in an Italian military base, it will tell the daily life of a group of teenagers. In the cast, led by Chloë Sevigny , Jack Dylan Grazer, Alice Braga, Jordan Kristine Seamón and Francesca Scorsese.
There is then the sequel of Call me with your name, Oscar winner 2018 for the Best Non-Original Screenplay. No details have yet been disclosed in the project, we only know that Guadagnino wanted André Aciman at his side.
