With a livestream on yesterday evening Activision and Infinity Ward showed for the first time the component multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare , the new episode of the popular military series coming out on 25 October. There is talk of rapid action with close fights 2v2 in Gunfight , of the traditional 6v6 multiplayer, modes that support firefights 10 v 10 is 20 v 20, up to maps that support a high number of players and fights , like the new Terrestrial War , a large-scale mode that supports more than 100 players.
There will be new weapons and “a variety of possible changes never seen before in the Call of Duty story”. Players will be able to optimize their multiplayer mode operators with the arrangements best suited to each type of combat thanks to the new “Master of Arms” system . In addition, Infinity Ward has revised the game mechanics on the basis of recoil and ballistics of weapons, as well as the penetration of the bullet, the assembly of the gun, the breaking of the doors and the night visors.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare employs a new graphic engine with a physically based material management system powered by photogrammetry , a new system streaming based on hybrid tile, a new PBR decal rendering system, volumetric ambient lighting, 4K HDR, DirectX Raytracing (PC) and a new GPU geometry pipeline. Spectral rendering allows thermal radiation and infrared identification for both thermal vision and night vision. While the new suite of audio tools supports the full Dolby ATMOS , on the supported platforms, as well as the most recent audio simulation effects.
Infinity Ward also announced the Open Beta version of Modern Warfare, which includes a crossplay test on weekend 2, to allow fans to try the game ahead of launch on 25 October. Fans can pre-order and get early access to the Modern Warfare Beta.
