Remedy Entertainment announced a series of post launch content coming in for Control , new third-person shooter available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One from last 27 August. The first news will be the arrival of the photographic mode , which will allow players to take pictures of the protagonist Jesse in action. The debut of this new feature is expected in the fall.
In December the Expeditions mode will be released, in which Jesse will have to help Arish, the Head of Security of the structure, to explore the mysterious “Formation” and its surroundings. It is in this area that lies one of the most challenging challenges of the game. This content will also be made available free to all players.
In the 2020, instead, it is expected the arrival of two paid expansions. Entitled The Foundation and AWE , they will include new missions, new teams, new enemies and game mechanics, and will be set in new areas of Oldest House .
The Foundation will explore the history of the Oldest House. At the request of the mysterious Council, Jesse will have to find out what is hidden in the basement of the Federal Bureau of Control building. AWE will take place in a new area, the Investigations Sector , where the Bureau carefully studies the Events of the Altered World
The Digital Deluxe Edition of Control for PlayStation 4 will include these two expansions, all the contents of the PlayStation 4 standard edition, the extra “Isolation” mission and the exclusive Urban Response Equipment for Jesse. For players who have already purchased Control for PS4 you can book the Season Pass which will include both expansions as soon as they are released.
Any expansion can be purchased individually at launch, the season pass and expansions will be available for purchase also for Xbox One and PC. The Season Pass and The Foundation expansion will be available for purchase on these two platforms after the launch on the PlayStation 4 version. The AWE expansion will be released simultaneously for all platforms.
